When you use Deal Punch, we collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Your name and email address when you create an account.
• Payment information: Payment details are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers on our servers.
• Order history: Records of deals you have purchased and vouchers you have redeemed.
• Browsing data: Pages visited, deals viewed, and interactions with the platform to help us improve your experience.
• City Operator data: If you participate in the City Operator License program, we collect additional information including: your full name, email address, phone number, payment and banking information (processed via Stripe Connect), licensed city and territory information, activity logs (merchant outreach, deal creation, partner signups), commission and payout records, and Stripe subscription and customer identifiers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Process your orders and deliver digital vouchers to your email.
• Send transactional communications such as purchase confirmations and voucher details.
• Send promotional emails about new deals and platform updates (you can opt out at any time).
• Improve the platform, analyze usage patterns, and develop new features.
• Prevent fraud and ensure the security of the platform.
• Manage the City Operator License program, including processing operator applications, calculating commissions, monitoring activity requirements, and facilitating payouts.

3. Third-Party Services

Deal Punch relies on trusted third-party services to operate. These providers have access to your information only as needed to perform their functions:

• Supabase: Database hosting and user authentication.
• Stripe: Payment processing. Stripe handles all credit card data under their own privacy policy and PCI compliance.
• Resend: Transactional email delivery (voucher emails, order confirmations).
• Anthropic: AI-powered support chat to help answer your questions about deals and the platform.

4. Cookies

Deal Punch uses cookies for session management. Specifically, we use Supabase authentication cookies to keep you signed in and maintain your session. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active. If you request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records (such as transaction history for tax or legal purposes).

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data and close your account.
